Title: Group Actions and Cohomology of Groups

Abstract: Finite groups and their cohomology arise in many areas of  
mathematics.
Cohomology of groups plays an important role in the interaction  
between topology and algebra via group actions.
In this talk, I will try to illustrate this point by giving examples  
and some important theorems in this area.
