It will be organised by Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Division of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Steklov Institute of Mathematics, and Moscow State University and will take place at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia, through 22-27 August 2011.

FIRST ANNOUCEMENT
                  
The International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC) has been organizing the International ISAAC Congress biannually since 1997. The previous congresses took place in the USA (Delaware 1997), Japan (Fukuoka 1999), 
Germany (Berlin 2001), Canada (Toronto 2003), Italy (Catania 2005), 
Turkey (Ankara 2007) and UK (London 2009). 
The 8th ISAAC Congress will be organized by Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Division of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Moscow State University and will take place at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia, through  22-27 August 2011.

ISAAC Award

Awards will be presented to young scientists of age below 40 at the time of the congress for particular merits in analysis, its applications and computation. Candidates for the awards may be nominated especially by ISAAC Board Members and Session Organisers, but also may apply by themselves.

An Award Committee will select the awardees. Awards will only be given to participants. In case a prize winner will not be able to participate, she/he will get only the award document but no corresponding prize.

Scientists interested in delivering a talk in a particular session are asked to contact a session organiser. At the same time they are requested to send a preregistration form to the local organisers.
