Title:  "On a class of locally compact operators"

Speaker: Şafak Alpay  (METU)

 Abstract: "An operator T between a Banach lattice
E and Banach space is called b-compact if the image of each b-order
bounded subset of E has relatively compact image under T . In this
talk we will give details of properties of this class of operators and
give several characterizations."

Tea and cookies will be served before the seminar.
