La Facult? des Sciences de l?Universit? Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
annonce la vacance d?un poste acad?mique ? temps plein d?une dur?e de 1
an au D?partement de Math?matique ? partir du 1er octobre 2011.

Il est attendu des candidats qu?ils dispensent un enseignement de
qualit? et qu?ils m?nent des recherches de haut niveau. Des recherches
dans le domaine de math?matiques discr?tes constituent un atout. Les
candidats doivent ?galement ?tre en possession d?une th?se de doctorat
dans un domaine des math?matiques, et avoir publi? des articles de
recherche de niveau international. Le candidat renforcera par ses
recherches l?une des ?quipes de recherche du D?partement de
Math?matique.

Le (la) titulaire de ce poste enseignera en fran?ais ? tous les niveaux
en math?matiques pour un total d?environ 120 heures de cours par an (il
est possible que l'int?ress?(e) soit amen?(e) ? encadrer des s?ances
d'exercice).

The Faculty of Sciences of Universit? Libre de Bruxelles (ULB,
Brussels) invites applications for a 1 year full-time academic position
within the Department of Mathematics, beginning October 1st 2011.

The successful candidate should be proficient both in teaching and in
research.  Publications in Discrete Mathematics are a plus. Candidates
should hold a PhD degree in Mathematics, and have a record of
international-level research publications. The successful candidate
will reinforce one of the research teams of the Department of
Mathematics.

He or she will teach mathematics classes (possibly also exercises), in
french, at all levels, for a total of around 120 lecture hours.

The closing date for applications is April 30th, 2011.

The departement of Electronic and Computer Science of ENSTA ParisTech
is seeking candidates for one faculty position (associate professor)
in System Safety and Reliability.

The departement of Electronic and Computer Science of ENSTA ParisTech
is developping methods and tools in the area of System Safety and
Reliability.

The research activity is focused on the formal verification of
embedded systems taking into account heterogeneity of them like
software/hardware interaction or software/physical environment
interactions. The applicants must have a PhD degree in Computer
Science and they must have some knowledge but not limited in abstract
interpretation, model checking, test generation, type systems, system
modelling.
