* Abstract:
*Partition analysis is a method for the solution of linear Diophantine
systems, introduced by MacMahon in the beginning of last century. Andrews,
Paule and Riese, in the beginning of this century, gave algorithmic
versions of partition analysis. We will see how the partial-fraction
decompositions, that are in the core of the partition analysis algorithms,
can be interpreted in terms of polyhedral geometry.
Moreover, a new algorithm for the evaluation of the Omega operator (the
main tool MacMahon introduced) will be presented. This algorithm is based
on polyhedral geometry and the recent understanding of the geometry of
partition analysis.

Greetings,
