Başlık: Path Algebras and Leavitt Path Algebras
Özet: Leavitt (1916-2013) construct rings as examples to rings over which a free module can have two bases with different cardinality. Such rings are called non-IBN rings and the rings he had constructed are nowadays, named as Leavitt Algebras. A few decades later, researchers realized that the path algebras which are defined over directed graphs are actually related with the Leavitt algebras and dubbed the named Leavitt path algebras. In this talk, first I will define a path algebra and a Leavitt path algebra. Then talk about the recent advances on the subject and on the two-sided ideals of these algebras.
