Abstract of Hafezieh :

There are three different graphs associated to the set of conjugacy class sizes of a finite group, which are called the prime graph, the common divisor graph and the bipartite graph. In this talk we will introduce these three graphs and give some combinatorial properties, such as the number of connected components, diameter and girth. Then we will use these properties to classify those finite groups that their bipartite divisor graph is a path or a cycle.

Abstract of Güneri:

The aim of the talk is to introduce some of the important facts and problems on curves over finite fields. The number of rational points of such a curve is bounded from above by the Hasse-Weil bound and curves reaching this upper bound are called maximal curves. We will pay particular attention to maximal curves, especially to Hermitian curve since it is the most interesting maximal curve for various reasons.
