Galatasaray Üniversitesi Matematik Bölümü Seminerleri kapsamında 3 Aralık (Çarşamba günü) saat 15.00'da FEF 09 nolu sınıftaki konuşmacımız  Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi'nden İrfan Şiap olacaktır. Konuşma ile ilgili detaylı bilgiler şöyledir:

Başlık:  Algebraic Codes and Some Recent Studies
    
Özet: We present the structure of linear codes over some special chain rings by giving a very quick introduction to error correcting codes. These codes have proved to be a good source for DNA codes. We review some recent studies on these directions and we present some new results. We also point out some open problems and new  directions.
