Cuma günü saat 2:00 da başlıyoruz.
İlk konuşmacımız Prof. Dr. Cem Tezer.

Not. Seminer sonrası çay ve kurabiye ikramımız var.
Seminerin detayları aşağıda. Konuşmalar yabancı dinleyicimiz olmadığı
takdirde Türkçe olacaktır.

Dear All,

you are cordially invited to the first Differential Geometry Seminar of
the Spring Semester 2013-14. The details are as follows:

Speaker: Cem Tezer (METU)

Title: An Introduction to Abstract Dynamics

Abstract: With little historical inaccuracy the abstract dynamics may be
said to have its inception in the work of H. Poincaré on celestial
mechanics. Initially its central objective is the qualitative study of
differential equations. In its contemporary form it straddles an
increasingly interdisciplinary domain that reaches from very practical
issues like the stability, accuracy and efficiency of numerical methods to
theory of group actions in several categories. The talk is meant to be a
tentative introduction.
