"Eisenstein series"

Abstract: "Eisenstein series are a very important tool in the theory of
modular forms and
number theory. I will discuss some elementary properties of them and will
give an application
regarding the number of representations of a positive integer as s sum of
integral squares. No pre-knowledge of modular forms will be required".

Yine aynı gün 17:00'de "Prime Numbers" isimli ve özeti

"Prime numbers"

Abstract: "Prime numbers are the multiplicative building blocks for the
positive integers:
every positive integer is a product of primes. Still they are mysterious in
many aspects.
In this talk, I would like to discuss some properties of the function
$\pi(x)$ that counts
the number of primes up to $x$ when $x$ is large."
