Title: An introduction to Geometric Mechanics

Abstract:  Symplectic and Poisson manifolds will be defined. Euler-Lagrange and Hamilton's equations will be derived. Euler-Poincaré and Lie-Poisson equations will be written along with several examples.

February by Ogul ESEN (Yeditepe Uni) on " An introduction to Geometric Mechanics".

Time  and  place:  February 27, at 14:00 in Department of Mathematics,
Building I, Seminar room.
