Conference on Arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay (ACM) Bundles on Algebraic
Varieties

Abstract: This conference is conceived as a high-level event where
recent developments related to vector bundles - with priority given to
arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay (ACM) bundles - can be presented and
ideas exchanged. Talks will be given by invited speakers; we expect
around 16 talks. Attendees are expected to have an interest in vector
bundles in algebraic geometry. For graduate students, a mini course of
four talks on vector bundles will be organized within the
Ankara-Istanbul Algebraic Geometry & Number Theory Meetings.

Housing will be arranged on the campus of Middle East Technical
University. We expect to support around 20 senior and 40 junior
participants; this will only cover local expenses such as housing and
food. Additional support will be announced if it becomes available.

Özet: Bu konferans, öncelik aritmetik Cohen-Macaulay (ACM) demetleri
olmak üzere vektör demetleri ile ilgili son gelişmelerin sunulup fikir
alışverişi yapılabileceği yüksek düzey bir faaliyet olarak
tasarlanmıştır. Davetli araştırmacılar konuşma vereceklerdir. Toplamda
16 konuşma olmasını bekliyoruz. Katılımcıların vektör demetlerine ilgi
duyan kişiler olması beklenmektedir. Yüksek lisans ve doktora
öğrencileri için, Ankara-İstanbul Cebirsel Geometri ve Sayılar Teorisi
Toplantıları bünyesinde, dört konuşmadan oluşan, vektör demetleri ile
ilgili bir mini ders verilecektir.

Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi kampüsünde konaklama sağlanacaktır.
Yirmi kıdemli ve 40 genç araştırmacıyı destekleyebilmeyi umuyoruz;
destek sadece konaklama ve yemek gibi yerel harcamaları
karşılayacaktır. Ek destek kaynakları mevcut oldukça duyurulacaktır.
