    Basak Koca from IU will talk this Thursday at the Mimar Sinan math
department's weekly seminar.

Title:Fredholmness of Some Toeplitz Operators

Abstract: In this talk we consider Fredholmness of Toeplitz operators with
continuous symbol in several variables (in polydisc and unit ball
cases) by using C*- algebraic methods. Then, as an application
for our results, we will give some conditions for solvability of a
class of integral equations.
