    * Abstract: 


The classical discrete distributions of order k such as geometric distribution of order k , binomial distributions of order k , and negative binomial distributions of order k are defined on a sequence of independent and identical Bernoulli trials. In this study, we study the corresponding q -discrete distributions which are defined on a sequence of Bernoulli trials with a geometrically varying success probability. In particular, we derive expressions for the probability mass functions and some characteristics of these distributions.
