*Başlık:* Invertibility in a C*-algebra of operators acting on the Hardy
space of unit disc via tensor products.

*Özet: *In this talk we will deal with invertibility of certain linear
algebraic sums in a C*-algebra generated by Toeplitz operators and Fourier
multipliers which act on the Hardy space of the unit disc Finding an
invertibility criterion we will apply this criterion to the
characterization of Fredholmness for some elements in a tensor product
algebra which act on the Hardy space of the bi-disc. These results
constitute joint work with B.B.Koca of İstanbul University.
