[Turkmath:3001] Re: ''Milli ve Yerli'' Matematik Konferansı

Şu bahar döneminde gelen konferans ilanlarının haddi hesabı yok. 2018
içinde yurt dışındakilerle birlikte 20 civarında konferans var; bu da 2000
civarında katılımcı demek.

Kendi kendimizi kandırıyoruz. Yazıktır. Günahtır...

Keşke biri neşter vursa diye çok bekleriz. Basiretten başka çözüm yok.
Düzenleyiciler,
işlerine biraz olsun çeki düzen verecek. İdareciler bu toplantılara
bilimsel niteliğini geliştirmeden yol vermeyecek... Akademisyenler,
danışmanlar kalite için bastıracak.... Teşvik, değerlendirme kurulları,
çeki düzen vermedikleri sürece itibar etmeyecek..

Bu toplantılar şaşırtıcı derecede benzeşiyor. Belki genç matematikçilerden
ayırd edemeyenler vardır diye bir ölçüt listesi yaptım. Bunların yarısını
sağlayan bir toplantının turistik/ticari sınıfa girdiği rahatlıkla
söylenebilir sanırım.

Toplantı yurt içinde midir, dışında mıdır, bakılmaksızın şu şartların
*yarısını *sağlıyorsa, turistik mahiyettedir.

1) IKUMEH2018 gibi bir kısaltma ismi varsa
2) "Topics include but is not restricted to" diye başlayıp uzayıp giden bir
konu listesi varsa,
3) Bilim Kurulunda 10'dan çok isim varsa.
4) Düzenleme kurulunda 10'dan çok isim varsa
5) Dekan, rektör vs şeref kurulunun başındaysa.
6) Uzaktan "virtual presentation" yapma hizmeti sağlanmışsa
7) Katılım ücretinin bildiri basım giderlerini kapsadığı itina ile
belirtilmişse
8) Uygun fiyata ikinci, üçüncü.. bildiri/poster sunulabiliyorsa
9) Davetli konuşmacıların ismi ve resmi var ancak konuşma başlığı ve özeti
ortada yoksa.
10) Barınma hariç katılım ücreti 250 TL'den fazlaysa...
