[Turkmath:4076] Research Workshop on Random Real Algebraic Geometry, 21-26 October 2019, METU NCC

Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to announce the "Research Workshop on Random Real Algebraic
Geometry." The workshop will take place between 21-26 October 2019 on the
Campus of the Middle East Technical University in Northern Cyprus.

The goal of the workshop is to focus on recent developments in random real
algebraic geometry, understood in a broad sense. We are especially
interested in approaching the topic from different viewpoints. We expect to
have approximately 30 participants in the workshop, half of whom will be
graduate students.

At the moment, the workshop includes the following speakers:

Jean-Yves Welschinger (Institut Camille Jordan, Université Lyon I)

The most convenient accommodation option is the university guesthouse,
which is at 5 minutes walking distance from the workshop venue. The
university supports the conference by applying a low rate for the rooms
(between 10-15 Euros per day for a single room and 7-10 Euros per person
per day for a shared room).

Limited support towards local expenses of junior participants is available.

The workshop is supported by the Middle East Technical University Northern
