Dear all,

*Dr.Emine Yıldırım *from Queen's University at Kingston will give a talk
titled *“ **Associahedra and Quiver Representations**” *on 16th October, at
14:00. All interested are invited.

Abstract: Associahedra are convex polytopes with a very combinatorial
nature, and there are many realization of these polytopes. In this talk, we
will discuss a particular way of getting an associahedron using quiver
representations. Considerable attention has been given to the combinatorics
of such polytopes since their relation to cluster algebras. We will also
talk about generalized associahedra coming from the combinatorics of the
simply laced Dynkin quivers. This is a joint work with Véronique Bazier-Matte,
Guillaume Douville, Kaveh Mousavand, and Hugh Thomas.

Microsoft Teams platform will be used for the seminar. To join the seminar,
