existence of a bad group is a major open question in model-theoretic group
theory. If they exist, these groups should be of the form of a CSA-group of
Morley rank 3 satisfying certain conditions. So it is imperative to verify the
model-theoretic properties of the class containing such groups. Furthermore if
one is intending to build a group resembling a bad group, then one should also
investigate the model-theoretic properties of the new groups after every step
of the building process. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
