assumptions are used in many statistical analyses and applications of
statistics. Thus there are many tests to check the normality assumption. The most
primitives are Probability Plot Correlation Coefficient (R) Test and Tiku’s (Z)
test based on sample spacings. Although they are primitive tests, due to their
ease of application they are commonly used and preferred. In this study, the
aim is to investigate the use of ranked set sampling in the R and Z tests. It
is known that ranked set sampling, in general, represents the population in a better
way. It is expected that ranked set sampling will improve the R and Z tests. By
using simple random sampling for different distributions, the power of</span></p>

calculated and these are compared with the results by using ranked set
