Finite-dimensional Long-time Behavior of Dynamical Systems
Generated
by Nonlinear Evolution Equations

Abstract: In
this
talk I am planning to discuss the problem of characterization of
finite-dimensional long-time behavior of dynamical systems
generated
by initial boundary value problems for nonlinear strongly damped
wave
equation, Navier – Stokes –Voight equations, Brinkman-Forchheimer
equations and related systems. It will be shown that the long
time behavior of solutions to these problems can be uniquely
determined by finite number of determining modes.
