positive solution in one dimensional case and it is still open in
multidimensional case for the spherical partial sums:</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Cambria Math","serif"">𝑆_α𝑓</span>(<span style="font-family:"Cambria Math","serif"">𝑥</span>).<span style="font-size:11pt">Historically progress with solving the Luzin’s conjecture
has been made by considering easier problems. One of such easier problems for </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Cambria Math","serif"">𝑆</span><span style="font-size:11pt">_α</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Cambria Math","serif"">𝑓</span><span style="font-size:11pt">(</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Cambria Math","serif"">𝑥</span><span style="font-size:11pt">)
was suggested by V. A. Il’in in 1968 and this problem is called the generalized
localization principle for the spherical partial sums. </span><span style="font-size:11pt">Recently, the problem of generalized localization was completely solved in papers [1] and [2].
