In the period August 10-September 18, 2026, at MPI CBG Dresden, we host<br>
a Dive into Research program funded by Combinatorial Synergies ( [1]see<br>
<a href="https://www.combinatorial-synergies.de/dives/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.combinatorial-synergies.de/dives/</a> [2] for a description of a<br>
DiR and requirements).<br>
<br>
This DiR is on combinatorial structures in algebraic statistics and game<br>
theory. The program aims to introduce students to these areas while<br>
preparing them for the rigors of graduate-level research.<br>
<br>
We are looking for excellent master’s and bachelor’s students to<br>
work together with experienced mentors and research assistants on<br>
problems related to the theme of the DiR.<br>

The deadline is February 15, 2026. Preference will be given to students<br>
