*Başlık ve Özet:*An Invitation to Functional Programming


Most mathematicians, as well as engineers, believe that applied mathematics
is about solving differential equations or doing some similar kind of
scientific/symbolic computing. In this talk, we will demonstrate how more
abstract branches of mathematics, such as category theory and algebra, find
direct applications in software engineering. No prior knowledge of
programming will be assumed during the talk.
