Teknik Üniversitesi (GTU) Matematik Bölümü Genel Seminerlerinde, 3 Aralık
Cuma günü saat 14:00'da Prof. Dr. Partha Guha (Khalifa University of
Science and Technology, BAE) bir seminer verecektir. Seminerin detayları
aşağıda olup tüm ilgilenenler davetlidir.

Seminer hibrit olarak yapılacak olup yüz yüze katılım GTÜ Matematik Bölümü
Derslik 3'de gerçekleşecektir. Ayrıca seminer için Microsoft Teams

Dear all,

There will be a seminar in Gebze Technical University (GTU)  on 3rd of
December by  Prof. Dr. Partha Guha ( Khalifa University of Science and
Technology, UAE ). This talk is also a part of the "Workshop on Nonlinear
Systems III - Research Week".

Title: Classical invariant theory, Chiellini integrability conditions and
applications to nonlinear differential equations.

Abstract: The Chiellini integrability condition is applied to find the
solutions of nonlinear differential equations of Liénard type. It also
enables us to formulate the Lagrangian description of the reduced
Liénard equations. We show that the Chiellini condition is related to
classical invariant theory using techniques from representation theory. In
this review the application of Chiellini condition extend the scope of the
integrability condition given by Chiellini to find out solutions to several
nonlinear differential equations. We present the geometric Hamiltonian
formulation of the Liénard equation using the Chiellini integrability
condition. We explore a complex Hamiltonian and metriplectic geometric
structure of the Liénard equation.

Time and place: This will be a seminar in hybrid form; it will be held in
person at 14:00 in the Department of Mathematics, Lecture Room 3. It will
