Time and place: At 14:00 in Department of Mathematics, Lecture Room 5

Title: Algebroids and Bialgebroids
Abstract: : In this talk, first we will discuss the basics of algebroids
which are natural frameworks for generalizations of conventional geometric
structures. We will explain some of the important differences between the
usual differential geometry and geometry on algebroids. We will then
present some applications of algebroids, with a particular focus on the
notion of bialgebroids and its relation to exceptional geometries in
physics.
