*Konuşma Adı:*  *An Introduction to Finite Multiple Zeta Values*

*Özet: *Multiple zeta values are real numbers defined by certain convergent
series and have been studied extensively in recent years. In this talk, we
introduce a naive finite analogue of multiple zeta values and discuss some
of its interesting properties, which closely resemble those of the original
multiple zeta values. In particular, we present a striking conjecture
relating finite multiple zeta values to classical multiple zeta values.
This talk is based on joint work with Don Zagier.

members of the Department of Algebra and Number Theory at Bilecik Seyh
Edebali University's Faculty of Science, will host its next and the last
one of this semester on *Tue, Jun 02, 2026*. The event will be conducted
online via Zoom.
