It is our great pleasure to invite you to the [ http://theicmme.org/ | 24th International Conference on Mathematics and Mathematics Education ] “On The Trail of Science from the Seljuks to the Republic: Mathematics in Sivas ” (ICMME-2026). This event will be held online or face-to-face ( National participants must attend the conference face to face ). For international participants, they can attend the conference as a hybrid (online or face-to-face) September 10-12, 2026 in Sivas / Turkey by the [ http://www.matder.org.tr/ | Association of Mathematicians (MATDER) ] in cooperation with [ https://www.cumhuriyet.edu.tr/ | Sivas Cumhuriyet University ] . 

MATDER is an association founded in 1995 by mathematicians in Turkey. Up to now 14 national and 9 international mathematics conferences were organized by MATDER. These conferences were one of the main national and international conferences. Since the talks in the meetings cover almost all areas of mathematics, mathematics education and engineering mathematics, the conferences have been well attended by mathematicians from academia, ministry of education and engineers as well. The last five conferences have been held in İstanbul (ICMME-2025), Nevşehir (ICMME-2024), Denizli (ICMME-2022), Ankara (ICMME-2021), Konya (ICMME-2019). This year, [ http://www.theicmme.org/ | ICMME-202 ] 6 will be held online or face-to-face in cooperation with [ https://www.cumhuriyet.edu.tr/ | Sivas Cumhuriyet University ] in Sivas / Turkey on September 10-12, 2026 as an international conference. 

The main aim of this conference is to contribute to the development of mathematics, mathematics education, computer science and their applications, and to bring together members of the mathematical community, computer science researchers, interdisciplinary researchers, educators, mathematicians, computer scientists and statisticians from all over the world. The conference will present new results and future challenges, in series of invited and short talks, poster presentations, workshops, and exhibitions. The presentations can be done in English. 

Those who want to make the conference presentation language Turkish must prepare the presentation text in English. National participants must attend the conference face to face. For international participants, they can attend the conference as a hybrid (online or face-to-face).

NOTE: 

All the abstracts of the presented papers will be published in the conference abstract book. Furthermore, peer review full papers which are accepted will be published in the following journals and conference proceeding book only if at least one of the authors is officially registered. The organizing committee is currently engaged in active negotiations with reputable academic journals to publish a curated collection of high-quality papers focused on a specific theme. Selection for inclusion in a special issue will be based strictly on alignment with the aims and scope of each respective journal. Given that each journal follows its own submission protocols, authors are expected to comply with the specific guidelines of their selected publication. Authors who presented their works at the conference (ICMME 2026) shall submit to one of the following journals by themselves. All submitted manuscripts will be subject to a rigorous peer-review process, with final publication decisions made by the journal editors.
