Post-doctoral position



This post-doctoral position is supported by the ERC Advanced Grant «
New Methods in Non-Archimedean Geometry ».



The applicant is expected to hold a recent PhD in Mathematics and to
have a strong background in at least one of the following topics:
Algebraic Geometry, Arithmetic Geometry, Model Theory.



The research will be focused on Non-Archimedean Geometry in a broad
sense, including but not exclusively topics like Motivic Integration,
Berkovich spaces, Model Theory of valued fields and their applications
to Algebraic Geometry, Singularity Theory, Dynamical Systems, etc.



The proposed salary will be around 30000 euros net per year (ie after
deduction of full social security coverage and health insurance
costs), for a period of 12 to 24 months. The research will take place
on Campus Jussieu, in the center of Paris.
